Welcome to my Web page. I am happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice. I am proud to be a member of such an outstanding organization, and I look forward to helping you if you ever need my care.
I grew up in New Jersey, and moved to Southern California to attend medical school. Even when I was a child, I knew that I wanted to be a doctor. All along I knew what I wanted to be able to make a real difference in people's lives, and practicing medicine gives me that opportunity.
I have worked in the Emergency Department at Kaiser Permanente Bellflower Medical Center and now Downey Medical Center full time for the past 17 years. Everyone in our department works very hard to evaluate and treat our patients as quickly as possible. It is truly a privilege to care for our members at such a crucial time.
Keeping balance in my life is important to me. I very much enjoy reading and learning new things. I spend several hours a week trying to improve my skills in emergency medicine so that I can take better care of my patients. I enjoy action-adventure novels and historical material. I am very active physically and spend one to two hours a day exercising, either running with my golden retriever or weightlifting in the gym. In the winter, I snowboard; in the summer, I scuba dive.
