About me

Hello and welcome to my Web page! I'm glad to have the opportunity to present my credentials to you and share some information about myself. Thank you for taking the time to get to know me better. I am thrilled to be a part of the Kaiser Permanente family, and I look forward to getting to know you as well.

Biography

I grew up in Bakersfield, California and completed my undergraduate studies at Wellesley College outside of Boston. Upon graduation, I worked in health care consulting in San Francisco. That following year, I started medical school at USC. After earning my medical degree and marrying a New Yorker, I then decided to move back to the East Coast for my medical training. I completed my residency and fellowship in nephrology at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City.

About my practice

I love the complexity of the kidney and also enjoy having long-time patients who I know and can continue to follow. I work in my outpatient clinic in Anaheim and our outpatient dialysis units which are distributed throughout Orange County, as well as both the Kaiser Permanente Anaheim and Irvine Medical Centers. My practice includes caring for patients with kidney transplants and kidney diseases, as well as patients who are on dialysis. I was previously at a private practice in Orange County and joined Kaiser Permanente in 2016. Working here has been a very rewarding experience and I am really enjoying being a part of our excellent team. I believe that open communication with my members is vital to establishing and maintaining a good doctor-patient relationship.

How I thrive

I believe that balance in life and work is extremely important as well as maintaining a healthy lifestyle. I especially enjoy spending time with my family (my husband and I have twin daughters who just started elementary school) and we also love traveling, exercising, reading, going to the beach and outdoor activities like hiking.
