Where I practice
I am delighted to offer this Web site as a means to provide you with information about myself and my practice. I am the physician in charge of breast imaging here at Kaiser Permanente Woodland Hills Medical Center. I am proud to be a member of this organization and strive to always provide you with the highest quality of care.
I was born and raised in Southern California, growing up in the heart of Los Angeles. I attended UC Berkeley as an undergraduate where I received my bachelor's degree in developmental psychology and physiology. I came back to Los Angeles to obtain my master's in Anatomy at USC. I continued my education at USC attending medical school. I spent eight years in private practice in the field of breast imaging and came to Kaiser Permanente in the year 2000. I am married with four beautiful children.
About my practice
My passion is in the field of breast imaging. I have been dedicated to helping women find cancer at an early stage through the use of mammography, ultrasound, and other imaging modalities. I encourage all women to obtain a screening mammogram on a consistent basis. I am passionate about my field and believe strongly that because of our new and improved techniques we are constantly saving lives. I enjoy communicating with members and my door is always open to any and all patients.
How I thrive
I enjoy spending time with my family, going to the beach, taking long walks, and hiking in the beautiful outdoors. I also enjoy going to the gym as much as possible. I have completed the Los Angeles Marathon once and look forward to training again for this year's marathon. I also participated in the three-day Avon Breast Cancer Walk and continue to participate in other breast cancer walks to raise money for a cure of this disease.
