Where I practice
Hello, and welcome to my Web page. I am very happy to have the opportunity to introduce myself to you. I work as a hospitalist, an internal medicine physician who provides general care to patients admitted to the hospital.
Because I wanted to spend my life helping people, I chose medicine as my career. I was born in Ukraine and came to the United States after graduation from medical school. I then completed my residency at OSF St. Francis Medical Center through the University of Illinois at Chicago. I also participated in several research projects for which I won multiple awards. Before moving to California with my family, I worked as a hospitalist in Chicago for three years. I feel very fortunate to be a part of Kaiser Permanente family.
About my practice
For me, being a physician is not only my profession, but also my vocation—my life. I am honored to provide the best care possible to my patients. The greatest reward at the end of my busy day is to see progress in a patient’s health and a smile on their face.
How I thrive
I love to travel and advocate for health care issues. Traveling brings the opportunities for cultural learning and idea exchange with overseas colleagues. My family is my cornerstone and my source of inspiration—my two kids keep me active and happy.
