About me
Hello! My name is Dr. Eriksen.
Biography
I grew up in Reno, Nevada. I have lived in many different areas of the country during my medical training and early career, but I have loved living in Southern California since 2016. When I am not at work, I love to spend time outdoors. I also spend time supporting and coaching my kids' athletics. In January 2025, I went to Africa on a medical mission trip, on which I removed tumors and masses for people with no access to head and neck specialty care. I plan to continue this on a yearly basis.
About my practice
I am trained in the full range of otolaryngology/ENT, but my subspecialty and practice focus is on head and neck surgical oncology as well as the reconstructive surgery often associated with head and neck oncology care. I enjoy working as part of an excellent team, with colleagues in radiation oncology and medical oncology, to provide high-quality care for members. It is very rewarding to help members battle cancer, and I am often inspired by the courage that they find during this process.
How I thrive
I love the ocean, mountains, and outdoor sports. I have loved teaching my kids to ski and to surf. Engaging in these activities brings me joy and rejuvenation, which in turn helps me maintain high professional energy, as a surgeon and physician.
