Welcome to my Web page. I am happy to introduce myself to you
I grew up in Iowa, and moved to Southern California during high school. I received my bachelor's degree from Duke University and a master's degree in biomedical engineering from Johns Hopkins University before deciding to go into medicine. I graduated from Tulane University Medical School and went on to complete my training in internal medicine, nephrology, and transplant nephrology at UCLA. I chose to specialize in nephrology because its challenges appeal to my analytical nature. I have been happily providing care at Kaiser Permanente since 2010.
I am proud to be part of the Kaiser Permanente organization, and would be honored to serve on your healthcare team. Kidney disease can be an overwhelming diagnosis. I feel it is important that my patients fully understand their kidney disease, and I am happy to answer any questions that they may have.
Balance is critical for a happy life. When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family, whether it is quiet time at home or having a nice dinner out. As a family, we enjoy travel, hiking, days at the park, swimming and, occasionally, scuba diving.
