About me
Thank you for taking the time to visit my Web page. Finding a physician is a very personal decision. I hope that by reading a little about me, you’ll have a sense of who I am, what is important to me, and how I can connect with you as your potential physician. I’m a native New Yorker who has now lived in California for more than 20 years. I’m an avid tennis/racquetball player and have an affinity for sports medicine.
Biography
I earned my bachelor’s degree from UCLA and completed my medical school training at UC Irvine. I firmly believe in preventive care, and I’m a huge advocate of sports and exercise on a regular basis. I play tennis and racquetball with my partner and have become familiar with sports and sports-related injuries. Sometimes less is more, and fewer medications can have better outcomes. Once I completed my training at UC Irvine, I realized that I wanted to go back to New York, and there I completed my residency in internal medicine. The training I had in the inner city of Brooklyn provided a great deal of knowledge, understanding, and insight into medical conditions I had not seen in California. My residency training was a valuable part of my medical education. Even though I will always remain a New Yorker, I opted to come back to California. I planned to stay for only 1 year and evaluate the care provided by Kaiser Permanente, but I was extremely impressed with the quality of care and the service that Kaiser Permanente provided, and I am now going into my 10th year with the organization.
About my practice
I work at the North Hollywood Medical Office, and I’m part of a team that strives to provide you with high-quality care. Your health is a primary concern for me, and I believe that preventive care is the key to providing good and efficient health care.
How I thrive
Staying fit and healthy is a daily task. In Southern California, we have the benefit of enjoying great weather all throughout the year. This climate is ideal for hiking, kayaking, water rafting, or swimming — all activities I enjoy. While I do miss New York on occasion, the great weather in Southern California is hard to beat.
