Thank you for taking the time to visit my Web page. Finding a physician is a very personal decision and can be challenging. I hope that by reading a little about me, you'll have a sense of who I am, what is important to me, and how I can connect with you as your potential physician.
I'm a New York native, who decided to venture out to California for my training. I earned my bachelor's degree in neuroscience from UCLA. During my training, I received several awards—including a Wasserman Award for Research Excellence, a Vice Provist Undergraduate Award, and the UC Regents Award. Despite receiving several research awards, I realized that patient care and interaction—specifically health care—was my true passion. As such, I continued my training and went to UC Irvine for my medical degree. Once I completed my training, I realized I wanted to go back to New York and completed my residency in internal medicine. The training I had in the inner city provided a great deal of knowledge, understanding, and insight to medical conditions I had not seen in California. My residency training was a valuable part of my medical education. After several years, I opted to come back to California and joined Kaiser Permanente.
I work in a state-of-the-art facility in North Hollywood, and I’m part of a great team that strives to provide you with high-quality care. I believe that preventive care is the key to providing good and efficient health care. Your health is a paramount concern for me.
Staying fit and healthy is a daily task. In Southern California, we have the benefit of enjoying great weather all throughout the year. This climate is ideal for hiking, kayaking, water rafting, or swimming—all activities I enjoy. While I do miss New York on occasion, the great weather in Southern California is hard to beat.
