Where I practice
Hello, and welcome to my Web page. I chose to be a doctor to help others have the best health possible by preventing and treating illnesses. As the fifth of seven children, family was always a very important part of my life, so family medicine was a natural fit for me.
I’m originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, and went to UC San Diego for my undergraduate studies. Once I arrive, I absolutely fell in love with San Diego. Afterwards, I went to Ohio State University College of Medicine, but my goal was always to come back to San Diego to work and live. I trained at Kaiser Permanente's Fontana Medical Center. I've been practicing family medicine at Kaiser Permanente in San Diego since 2000. My husband and I are busy with our four children, supporting them in their endeavors to help them be the best individuals they can be, and helping them stay as healthy as possible, so they can live their lives to the fullest.
About my practice
I love interacting with members and enjoy listening to them. I help them become advocates for their health, and I partner with them in preventing and treating illnesses in a safe, thorough, and effective way that they can feel comfortable with. My team loves to work together and support each other, with the best interests of members like you at the center of our purpose.
How I thrive
I love the outdoors and stay healthy by running, hiking, and biking. I really enjoy reading, watching my children play sports, spending time with my family, and traveling to see my extended family. I try to take life one day at a time and do the best I can in all aspects of my life to stay well balanced and healthy in mind, body, and spirit.
