Hello! Welcome to my Web page. I’m thrilled to be serving the community as a pulmonary and critical care specialist.
I was born in Tupelo, Mississippi, and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. I attended college at Duke University in North Carolina before attending medical school at New York University. I finally moved out to California for my residency at Harbor–UCLA Medical Center, followed by a pulmonary and critical care fellowship at UC Irvine Medical Center.
I deal with a wide variety of lung and breathing conditions, including lung cancer, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and pleural diseases. I also serve our most critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit. For all my members, I strive to base my care on current research and evidence while, at the same time, being compassionate and caring.
I enjoy my free time with my family. I also spend time mountain biking, snow boarding, running, and traveling when I can. I like to read science fiction, fantasy, and travel books as well. I relax by watching television in the evenings. I will often read the news online and listen to public radio to keep myself updated on the world around us.
