About me

Welcome to my Web page with Kaiser Permanente. I'm proud to be part of this organization and have the opportunity to work with you and your family to address your medical concerns. I believe that the family unit plays a huge role in health and health maintenance. I am happy to be part of that as your physician.

Biography

I'm a Southern California native. I went to medical school at Loma Linda University Medical School and completed my training in pediatric neurology at the children's hospital there. I've had the privilege to work with several distinguished physicians in the field of pediatric neurology and they taught me the importance of caring for the whole person. I chose to practice medicine in order to help people in an intellectually satisfying way. I have the unique opportunity to use my specialty training to help deliver effective and comprehensive care. I'm happy to be part of your child's care.

About my practice

Our pediatric neurology team is committed to caring for your child with the respect and attention he or she deserves. We address complications of prematurity, development, school performance, behavioral concerns, and mind-body interaction. We care for migraines, headaches, seizures, cerebral palsy, genetic disorders, neuromuscular disorders, neuropathic pain, and neurodegenerative disorders. We work closely on addressing behavioral health, genetics, and developmental pediatrics, and with your primary physician to provide comprehensive care for your child. We know a neurological diagnosis can at times be stressful. We have excellent support in our team of nurses, social workers and case management team. I'm always just an email away with www.kp.org.

How I thrive

I believe there is more to life than work. I use my weekends to explore all that the region has to offer and to reconnect with family. My family and I find solace in nature, getting the opportunity to "recharge" and get ready for the next week. Physical health can only be maintained by caring for your mental health and pursuing what makes you happy. I hope you know what helps you stay balanced. I'm happy to be your partner in that endeavor.
