Where I practice
Hello, my name is Mark Feinerman, MD, FACP. I’ve been practicing gastroenterology since 1985. Educated at Stanford and UCLA, I was invited to join Kaiser Permanente by the former chief of gastroenterology. I’ve found Kaiser Permanente Woodland Hills Medical Center an excellent facility in which to provide high-quality care, with resources similar to major academic medical centers.
I’m a native Californian—born and raised in Los Angeles. I’m a clinical associate professor of medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, and also assist with teaching at the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System in West Los Angeles. I’m also a fellow of the American College of Physicians—a society that promotes high educational standards and continuing education of doctors.
About my practice
I have an extremely busy daily work schedule. I have sub-specialized in biliary endoscopy, but I consult on all aspects of gastroenterology including ulcer disease, reflux esophagitis, colitis, Crohn's disease, hepatitis and liver disease, and pancreatitis. I strive to provide the most up-to-date diagnostic and therapeutic care for members. A good day for me is one where I leave work thinking I did the very best I could do for people. I try to do that every day.
How I thrive
I’m able to maintain my busy schedule by keeping physically fit with daily exercise, and mentally healthy by maintaining good relationships with my family and friends.
