Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page. I am glad to have the opportunity to present my credentials to you and to share other information about myself. It is very important that you feel comfortable with your personal physician, and I hope this page will help you get to know me.
I am a native Southern Californian who grew up as a Kaiser Permanente member. Even when I was a young child, I knew that I wanted to be a physician, in part because of the compassionate care I saw my grandmother receive in the last few years of her life and because of my love of science. I knew that I wanted to be able to make a real difference in the lives of patients and their families, and practicing medicine gives me that opportunity. I also enjoy teaching, and I have been asked by the USC Keck School of Medicine to teach the practices and principles of gastroenterology to their medical students and physicians-in-training.
About my practice
I feel that healthy living and preventive care are the best ways to stay healthy, but I am also here to help you when you are sick. I want to be your partner in health, and it helps me better care for you when you are actively involved in taking care of your health.
How I thrive
I firmly believe in the Kaiser Permanente philosophy of healthy living, and try to live it in my life every day. I enjoy spending time with my family and visiting the Sierra Nevada Mountains.
