Where I practice
Hello, I'm Marina. Welcome to my Web page. I'm glad to have the opportunity to present my credentials to you and share information about myself. It is very important that you feel comfortable with your primary care physician, and I hope this page will help you get to know me. I am relatively new to Kaiser Permanente and feel very fortunate to have joined the Kaiser Permanente community and family.
When I was young, if anyone asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, I would always exclaim that I wanted to be a doctor! When I was just 8 years old, my family moved from Uzbekistan to the United States. During the years of medical school and residency I lived in different cities across the country: Los Angeles, Riverside, Miami, Brooklyn, and Chicago. I am happy to say that I finally feel like I am home here at Kaiser Permanente in Woodland Hills.
About my practice
What I find the most attractive in family medicine is its focus on disease prevention and the opportunity to build a long-term relationship with my patients. I feel that healthy living and preventive care are the best ways to stay healthy and avoid most chronic medical conditions. However, I'm also here to help you when you are sick. I want to be your partner in health, and I look forward to working together with you.
How I thrive
I firmly believe in Kaiser Permanente's philosophy of health in body, mind, and spirit, and try to live it in my life every day. My husband, son, dog, and I love spending time outdoors, especially hiking and camping. I try to spend as much of my free time with my family as I can because I treasure our time together.
