About me
Hello, and thank you for visiting my Web page. I appreciate the opportunity to share a little about myself and the work I feel privileged to do. From a young age, I found myself fascinated by how something as simple as a pill could help someone feel better. That early curiosity eventually grew into a genuine desire to understand medicine and use that knowledge to help others feel well again. I’m grateful for the chance to introduce myself, and I look forward to supporting you with care that is thoughtful and reassuring.
Biography
My interest in medicine began in childhood, sparked by a simple question: How can one small pill make a person feel better? As I grew older and learned more about the science behind healing, I knew I wanted to dedicate my life to helping people feel well again. That curiosity eventually led me into the field of medicine, where I’ve continued to find both purpose and fulfillment. Over the years, I’ve volunteered at a free medical clinic in South Central Los Angeles, an experience that deepened my commitment to accessible and compassionate care. I speak some Spanish, and I am continually working to strengthen my communication in it to better connect with the diverse community I serve. A fun fact about me: people often tell me that one of my most recognizable traits is my smile — I believe kindness and warmth go a long way in helping members feel comfortable. I’m grateful for the journey that brought me to medicine and for the opportunity to care for people during meaningful moments in their lives.
About my practice
I chose internal medicine because it allows me to understand a wide range of conditions and connect with members across different areas of health. Becoming a hospitalist felt like a natural next step. I value caring for individuals who are ill enough to require hospitalization and supporting them through critical and often complex situations. One aspect of my work that I appreciate deeply is the ability to focus entirely on what is medically best for members . This freedom allows me to be fully present, thoughtful, and dedicated to providing high-quality care. My goal is to create an environment where members feel supported, informed, and reassured throughout their hospital stay.
How I thrive
Outside of work, I stay energized through outdoor activities, spending time with friends, and playing soccer — one of my favorite ways to stay active and connected. What brings me the most happiness is seeing members feel better and knowing that I have contributed to their recovery. I’m also working toward improving my Spanish and maintaining a consistent exercise routine, both of which help me continue growing personally and professionally. These activities bring balance to my life and allow me to return to my work with a renewed sense of purpose.
