About me
Hello and welcome! Thank you for visiting my Web page! I know how daunting it can be to meet a new doctor, so I hope this brief bio will allow to you get to know me a little bit better.
Biography
I am Korean-American, born and raised in Southern California. Having grown up in California, I have found myself never wanting to stray too far from the sunny weather and my loving extended family. With my mother being a health care provider, I had early exposure and interest and a burning desire to be able to take care of people. In college and in medical school, through several volunteer opportunities and medical mission trips, I focused my desire to compassionately take care of women in particular. I completed college at UC Berkeley and my medical and residency trainings at Loma Linda University Medical Center. I am happily married to my husband, and we are growing our own little family. I consider myself a very upbeat, energetic, and positive person.
About my practice
I have always considered patient care in light of teamwork. I make a great effort to treat each member that I team with as I would a member of my own family. I make it a priority to listen to members and their concerns and questions, and I try to address them to the best of my ability as we build a health care plan that the both the member and I are comfortable with. I practice both general obstetrics and gynecology with special interest in high-risk pregnancies. My favorite part of practice is being able to take care of multiple generations of women in one family and of course having members come back to have prenatal care for their second, third, or even fourth pregnancies with me.
How I thrive
Outside of work, most of my time is spent with my friends and family. I love to travel both domestically and internationally and seek out new restaurants to try new foods. I am an avid runner and hiker. I also love doing quiet activities to recharge at home like cross-stitching, sketching, doing crossword and logic puzzles, and reading.
