Welcome to my Web page. I’m happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my work as a physician at Kaiser Permanente.
I’m a native Californian, born and raised in San Francisco. I have been in Southern California since my residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in 2001. I then went on to specialty training in pulmonary and critical care at UC Irvine. The reason I became a physician is simple: I enjoy the challenge of improving the heath of my patients.
I am a pulmonary and critical care physician and have practiced since 2007 at South Bay Medical Center. I am proud to be part of a wonderful team of physicians, staff, and nurses. I deal with a wide variety of lung and breathing problems, including lung cancer, emphysema, and pleural diseases. My goal is to better the lives of my patients. I practice medicine based on scientific evidence, yet I realize there is much in medicine that still requires good instincts and judgment and not wholly dependent on science alone.
In my free time, I try to spend time with my family as much as possible. I enjoy snow skiing, hiking, and being outdoors.
