About me

Hi! I am Dr. Carter and I invite you to read more about me as you look at setting up a new personal physician.

Biography

I was born right here in San Diego but grew up in a small Ohio town. I returned to Southern California for college and haven't left! The sunshine, outdoor activities, and awesome San Diego residents have kept me enjoying this city year after year. I spent 8 years serving in the United States Navy and continue to serve in the Navy Reserves.

About my practice

I believe in a team approach to improving your health. Helping you to set your own health goals and guiding you to meet those goals is my mission. I also want to be here to help when you are sick.

How I thrive

As an avid runner, I strive to keep healthy habits in my own life. I participate in local runs and find new ways to keep exercise fun. I work hard to balance helping members at work with finding time to relax, read, and watch movies at home.
