Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page. I’m pleased to have this opportunity to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice.
I was raised in Southern California and received all of my education locally. Becoming a physician has given me the opportunity to have an important impact on my members’ well-being. It was also a good fit for my interest and aptitude for science. I now have over 30 years of experience and education in pathology, and I try my best to keep up with the many new advances in the field. I’ve been very fortunate to work with some fine physicians for many years—including professors from Harbor–UCLA Medical Center and USC. I try to approach each member’s case as I would that of a family member or personal friend.
About my practice
The primary focus of my practice is to analyze members' tissue samples, which are obtained by other physicians. I try to figure out if the tissue is normal or abnormal. For example, might the tissue come from a tumor of some type? It’s mostly a behind-the-scenes job, but it’s very important that I use my experience and education to diagnose your tissue specimen accurately. In difficult diagnostic situations, I try to take a common sense approach and make a practical diagnosis that will allow for the best possible care.
How I thrive
I like to be aware and informed about the world around me. Having the opportunity to contribute to the health of members helps me live well. I enjoy going to continuing medical education seminars. I also like to spend time with my family.
