Where I practice
Hello, my nickname is Kel. I’m happy to have the opportunity to present my credentials to you and share a few things about myself. I believe it is crucial that you feel comfortable with your personal physician. This web page will help you get to know more about me.
I have wanted to be a gastroenterologist since a very close family member passed away from hepatitis C and cirrhosis. After coming to the U.S. at the age of 20, I have seen setbacks that different patient populations have faced, and my goal is to optimize the care that caters to specific needs for each patient population and to each individual patient.
About my practice
My goal is to help members in the fields of general gastroenterology and hepatology. I became interested in liver diseases such as hepatitis B and C and liver cancer during my fellowship at UCLA and did research on them. A lot of topics in my field can be very sensitive, and I would like to be the doctor that you feel comfortable sharing any information with, knowing that you will not be judged, so that I can provide the best care for you.
How I thrive
Keeping balance is my life motto. Besides medicine, I am very involved with fitness and nutrition to maintain a healthy lifestyle. You might see me play beach volleyball on the weekend sometimes. One last thing — I am very close to my family, and spending time with family and loved ones is always a priority on my list.
