About me

Welcome to my Web page. I'm glad to have this opportunity to introduce myself and share with you some information about myself and my practice.

Biography

I came to Los Angeles in 1971 to attend medical school. Before that, I lived in New York and Israel. I wanted to be a doctor from an early age. I was aware of the suffering my family experienced during World War II, and I wanted to help alleviate the suffering of others. I am married and have been blessed with five children.

About my practice

I have been with Kaiser Permanente for over 30 years. I started as a per diem hospital doctor at the Kaiser Permanente West Los Angeles Medical Center, and have practiced internal medicine in Panorama City, Granada Hills, Lancaster, Woodland Hills, and now Thousand Oaks. I treat adults from age 18 to over 100. I find special things to appreciate in every age group. I try to help my patients stay healthy and get healthier. I also always learn from my patients.

How I thrive

I swim every morning year round. I try to walk outdoors or on a treadmill for 30 minutes a day. I watch my diet carefully and eat lots of salads, vegetables, and a largely Mediterranean diet. My family helps greatly to provide balance in my life.
