Welcome to my Web page. I am glad to have the opportunity to present my credentials to you and share other information about myself. It is very important that you feel comfortable with your doctor, and I hope this page will help you get to know me.
My parents moved my twin brother and I to the United States just as we started kindergarten. I wanted to become a doctor so I could help people, answer questions about a worrisome condition, and treat them so they could return to a regular life. My undergraduate studies were at University of California - Irvine, and I attended medical school in New York, which was a wonderful opportunity to live and learn in a different environment. I moved back to Southern California and have lived here ever since. My wife and I have 2 amazing children, and we are fortunate to have a supportive and nurturing extended family.
My original training was in internal medicine, and I practiced as both an outpatient and inpatient physician at Kaiser Permanente for nearly 5 years. Ultimately, I was drawn to another specialty that not many people are familiar with. Physiatrist is focused on functional improvement, with promotion of wellness and exercise. I treat a variety of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.
I strive to make my family a priority and attempt to keep my life well balanced. I enjoy swimming and playing with my young children. If given extended free time, my wife and I enjoy traveling both here and abroad.
