About me

Hi, I'm Dr. Jimmy Apisakkul. I’m originally from Rosemead in the San Gabriel Valley. Providing safe, steady care during some of the most stressful moments in a member’s experience is central to how I practice medicine. I approach my role with focus, responsibility, and close attention to detail, especially when members are undergoing surgery or invasive procedures.

Biography

My decision to become a physician was strongly influenced by the values instilled in me by my family and my faith. I’ve always been drawn to work that centers on helping others, and medicine felt like a natural extension of those values. Being part of a profession dedicated to service and care is deeply fulfilling for me.

I chose anesthesiology because it allows me to care for members during critical moments when safety, comfort, and trust matter most. As an anesthesiologist, my role is to monitor and protect members while they undergo surgery or invasive procedures, ensuring they remain safe and comfortable throughout the experience. I find purpose in being a calm, focused presence when members may feel anxious or uncertain.

About my practice

In my practice, I focus on safety, clear communication, and careful preparation. I work closely with surgeons, nurses, and the broader care team to coordinate each member’s care before, during, and after procedures. This team-based approach is essential to delivering thoughtful and effective anesthetic care. I take pride in helping ensure procedures proceed smoothly while members feel cared for and protected. My goal is to provide care that is attentive, precise, and reassuring, even when members may not remember our interaction afterward.

How I thrive

I enjoy spending time with family and friends and traveling to new places. I’m also a sports fan and enjoy following the Dodgers, Lakers, and UCLA Bruins. Go, Bruins!! I focus on continuing to grow both professionally and personally, with the goal of improving a little each day. These interests help keep life balanced and grounded.
