Hi! Welcome to my Web page!
I’m an Illinois native—born and raised in the Chicago suburbs. I completed my undergraduate studies in biochemistry at the University of Illinois and stayed there for medical school. I did my Ob/Gyn residency at Cedars Sinai Medical Center, and then went on to complete a fellowship and get my board certification in urogynecology and female pelvic medicine/reconstructive surgery at UC Irvine. I have a wonderful husband and two beautiful children. In addition working at Kaiser Permanente, I volunteer at UC Irvine—teaching residents and fellows. I’m also interested in researching the barriers that prevent women from seeking care for urinary incontinence.
I believe that being a physician is a tremendous privilege and I’m blessed to be a part of the Kaiser Permanente community, helping improve the lives of women. The field of female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery provides care for women with disorders of the pelvic floor area, including pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, bladder disorders, and anal incontinence. I offer diverse treatments for these conditions, including more conservative therapies, in addition to surgery.
I believe in striving for a balanced lifestyle for my family and myself. Apart from work and spending time with family, I enjoy kickboxing and being an active member of my local church.
