Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page. I'm pleased to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice. I feel very fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente and look forward to working with you to care for your health.
I grew up in Los Angeles and graduated from UCLA with a bachelor's degree in psychology. I moved to New York to attend medical school. In 1997, after four years of medical school and three years of internship and residency, I returned to Southern California and began work as a primary care physician at Kaiser Permanente's Panorama City Medical Center. After 3 years, I changed roles, working primarily in the hospital. I was board certified upon my completion of training and recertified in 2007. I met my wife and best friend in 1990. We were married in 1991. We have four children—two boys and two girls.
About my practice
Officially, I’m considered a hospitalist. What this means, in essence, is that my primary duties are the care of patients in the hospital, consulting in the Emergency Department, and managing the observation-treatment unit.
How I thrive
Keeping balance in my life is very important to me. Despite my busy work schedule, I make it a point to set aside time for my family, for exercise, for education, and for fun. I have a particular passion for classic and martial arts movies.
