Thanks for viewing my Web page. It's nice that there's an opportunity for our patients to know more about who is providing their care.
I was born and raised in Los Angeles. I attended UCLA for my undergraduate studies and USC for medical school. In 1987 I began working at Kaiser Permanente in Panorama City. If you come to my office, you'll see many pictures of my wife and three children.
My specialty is urology. I feel very committed to giving my patients the best care possible. I provide the same care to my patients that I would want my family to receive. I especially love being able to provide ongoing urological care for our patients when they need it. Many of the surgeries we perform can be done without patients’ needing a hospital stay, and nearly 50% are done using a telescope, so many procedures can be completed with no incisions or limited incisions.
I am an avid cyclist. I have made it my goal to participate in at least one organized century (100-mile) bicycle ride every year. I usually feel great after a strenuous bike ride. When I exercise at least three mornings a week, I come to work feeling relaxed and ready to take care of my patients. I encourage my patients to be active, eat healthy foods, and avoid smoking. I think the Kaiser Permanente Healthy Living Helpline is a great asset for our patients.
