Where I practice
Finding a physician that you are comfortable with is so important. I hope that sharing a bit about myself will help us get a head start. The quality of our relationship will be key to the success of our treatment.
I am a local guy, raised in nearby Carson, and was actually born in a Kaiser hospital. My interest in medicine started early, and guided my decision to pursue science in college at UCLA. I also completed a graduate degree in public health before attending medical school at the University of Michigan. Orthopaedic surgery appealed to me, and I did my residency training in San Diego. It was an awesome experience, and I could not have chosen a better specialty. Whether I am treating traumatic injury or just plain wear and tear, I have the opportunity every day to make people feel better.
About my practice
My fellowship training was at the Anderson Clinic in Virginia, where I focused on lower-extremity joint replacement of the hip and knee. A minimally invasive, anterior approach hip replacement surgery is a special interest. It typically allows for quicker recovery and shorter hospital stays. I am excited to partner with you in your care. Together we can achieve your health goals and get you back to the activities of life you enjoy.
How I thrive
For my own wellness, life balance is key. I am blessed with a wonderful family, and spend as much time with them as I can. I try to stay very active. I have been competitive in sports all of my life and still love to play with friends.
