Welcome to my Web page! Thank you for taking the time to find out a little bit about me. I am grateful for the opportunity to introduce myself and participate in your medical care. I am especially grateful to be a part of the Southern California Permanente Medical Group.
I was born and raised in Southern California in a large close-knit family. Education and hard work were emphasized throughout my childhood, helping to get me to where I am today. I had to leave California for four years of medical school in Wisconsin, but was very happy to return for residency and my career. I am particularly happy to begin the rest of my career in beautiful San Diego!
I have been a board-certified radiologist for more than 5 years, and I love my job! I joined Southern California Permanente Medical Group after 4 years in private practice. I am proud to be a part of the Kaiser Permanente system, and feel fortunate to work with so many talented colleagues. I look forward to working closely with other physicians and staff members to help our members have the best and healthiest lives possible. Working in diagnostic radiology, I don't get to interact with members often, but I am happy to do so when I work in the breast care and fluoroscopic sections of the department.
I believe a healthy work-life balance is important for everyone, including physicians. I spend time away from work with family and friends, taking classes at the gym, and experimenting with new recipes for meals and especially desserts. I really enjoy experimenting with healthier recipes that emphasize lower fat and calories as well as more natural sugars; my husband is happy to taste everything I cook. My favorite pastime is simply relaxing with my husband.
