Where I practice
This Web page is an exciting opportunity for me to introduce myself, and for you to learn more about me as a physician and as a person.
A native Californian, I traveled east for my education and training, but always felt drawn back to my West Coast roots. After completing my training, I became a partner in a radiology practice group. After years of traditional private practice, however, I decided to join Kaiser Permanente because I found that they are also dedicated to the mission of providing high-quality care while ensuring that members know they have a compassionate and caring advocate for their total well-being. Kaiser Permanente’s integrated health care delivery system and emphasis on preventive medicine assures that I provide exactly that. While I enjoyed experiencing other regions of the country, and I’m proud to have studied at some of the best institutions, I’m thrilled to be able to live, practice and thrive in sunny San Diego with my beautiful wife.
About my practice
Diagnostic radiology is a fascinating field utilizing cutting-edge technology to look, in a noninvasive way, deep within the human body for any signs of real or potentially harmful conditions—even if they are hidden from the naked eye. I enjoy the challenge of keeping up with the rapid advance of medical technology so that these breakthroughs can be used to serve my members’ health. Nothing is more rewarding than using the latest in modern technology to detect a developing condition in time to provide remedy—before it can negatively impact a member’s well-being.
How I thrive
I enjoy world travel, experiencing other cultures, and fine dining. I enjoy running, cycling, surfing, mountain biking, soccer, and local sporting events—go Chargers!
