Where I practice
Hi! Welcome to my Web page. I am glad I have this opportunity to help you get to know me better as your personal doctor and as a member of the Kaiser Permanente team. I chose to become a Kaiser Permanente doctor because it enables me, and even encourages me, to focus solely on taking care of my patients without having to worry about the business aspects of medicine.
Originally from the East Coast, I completed my undergraduate degree in neuroscience at Brown University. After college, I came to California for medical school and eventually my residency. After my experience in pediatrics in medical school, I knew it was my calling; and there are few things more rewarding than a child’s giggle or smile. My interests include spending time with family (especially with my husband and my two boys) and friends, traveling, dancing, and enjoying the outdoors.
About my practice
I strongly believe in preventive care, and I find it especially important in the practice of pediatrics. Prevention and anticipatory guidance for healthy living from the very beginning of a life help to ensure that we see our young members grow up happy and healthy. To be able to see and be a part of that over the years is the most rewarding part of being a pediatrician.
How I thrive
My personal values support the philosophy of total heath. I am a strong believer in keeping a healthy balance in one’s life in every aspect possible. Moderation is key. I am also a spiritual person, and I believe the mind and the body have a strong connection in keeping one healthy. I try to live my life accordingly to my beliefs as an example to my patients, and I hope that it will encourage them to live well.
