Welcome to my Web page. I am happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you. My coworkers and our members have made working at Kaiser Permanente a wonderful experience.
As you can see from my credentials, I attended medical school on the East Coast and did my residency in Northern California. Joining Kaiser Permanente 10 years ago was one of the best decisions of my life. Moving to Southern California was about getting back to my roots. I grew up here and my entire family still lives in the area. But practicing at Kaiser Permanente allows me to focus my time and energy on the reason I chose to be a physician: taking care of patients.
I'm an anesthesiologist, which gives me an opportunity to help people in a very special way. I'm honored when patients put their trust in me, and I strive to treat them as I would my own family. Working at Kaiser Permanente has allowed me to experience how our members truly benefit from the team approach to health care, which gives them access to a mix of primary care physicians and specialists. And our electronic health record enhances that care because it allows physicians to always have secure access to their patients’ health information.
Keeping balance in my life is very important to me. When I’m not working, spending time with family and friends is my highest priority. I especially enjoy spending time with my daughter, whether it be biking, riding a scooter, or playing board games. And at least for now, she thinks I'm pretty cool. But I also make sure I set aside time for myself to just relax by reading or even playing video games. And when time allows, my family and I love to travel
