About me
Thank you for taking the time to learn about me and my philosophy in regard to your neurosurgical care. I look forward to serving you as your neurosurgeon at Kaiser Permanente. I am hopeful that this page will help you learn more about me. I look forward to working with you to preserve your health and well-being.
Biography
I am the son of Pakistani immigrants and spent the majority of my childhood in South Florida. I completed my undergraduate training at the University of Miami, where I studied biochemistry and mathematics. I completed my master of science in human anatomy degree from University of South Florida in Tampa and my medical training at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Pennsylvania. I completed my neurosurgery training at Riverside University Health System in California and worked as a clinical instructor at Stanford University, where I completed my fellowship in minimally invasive and complex spine from Stanford University School of Medicine.
About my practice
I take pride in all neurosurgical subspecialties but want to focus my work on improving lives and getting members back to the things they love that make life meaningful. Preserving the natural motion and function of your body is my goal for you. Whether your aliments come from aging or degeneration, from trauma, or are cancer-related, my aim is to work with you and the rest of care team here at Kaiser Permanente to help get you back to the things you love doing and the things that help you thrive, whether that be getting you back to work, back to the exercises you love, or just picking up your grandchildren again. I will be here for you.
How I thrive
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, as well as working on home projects. I prioritize being the best father, friend, and citizen that I can be and believe that helps me to be a better physician. My work becomes the most meaningful by getting you back to doing the things you love. I aim to be the physician I would want for my own family.
