Welcome to my Web page. I’m happy to have this opportunity to introduce myself and tell you about my practice. I believe it’s important that you feel comfortable with your child’s pediatrician, and I hope the information here will help. I look forward to getting to know you and your child.
I’ve known I wanted to work with children since I was a child myself. I’ve always enjoyed spending time with kids. Playing with special-needs children during high school and tutoring inner-city kids who were in grade school, are among my most memorable moments. Occasionally, I’ll receive emails or postcards from those kids that bring back fond memories. These and many other similar memories solidified my decision to work with children as a career.
Forging a relationship requires time. In a busy practice, time is a precious commodity and multitasking becomes an imperative. However, it’s the focused, personal interactions that stand out in our memories and can forge bonds between strangers. And it's this type of strong relationship that I’ll strive to build with you and your child.
Keeping balance in our lives can be a difficult endeavor. All of us lead busy lives and there never seems to be enough time. I try to keep everything in balance, beginning with the basics. I eat everything in moderation and no favors are given to any foods—except the occasional indulgence for ice cream! I keep active with everyday activities like gardening, cooking, walking to the local market or restaurant, and occasionally doing a minor home improvement project.
