About me
Thank you for taking a moment to learn more about me. In sharing a little about myself, I hope to improve the connections that help make healthcare a collaborative and meaningful experience.
Biography
Originally from Korea, I initially came to Southern California to attend UCLA and then moved to Philadelphia for medical school at Jefferson Medical College. Thereafter, I returned to Los Angeles to complete my training in pathology at USC and ended up in Houston for a year completing a women's health fellowship at UT MD Anderson. I returned to Los Angeles and have enjoyed working in both academic and private practice settings around the greater Los Angeles and Orange County area.
About my practice
One of the aspects I enjoy most about my practice is working with physicians across many specialties. Pathology provides a unique perspective on member care, allowing me to support clinical decision-making and member care behind the scenes.
My approach emphasizes accuracy, communication, and teamwork. By working closely with colleagues throughout the healthcare system, I help provide information that supports timely diagnoses and thoughtful treatment plans. I value being part of a multidisciplinary team committed to delivering high-quality care.
How I thrive
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with those who matter most to me, including family, friends, and pets. I also enjoy cooking, reading, home improvement projects, podcasts, trying new restaurants, and simply being outside!
