About me
Welcome! I'm glad to have the opportunity to present my credentials to you and share other information about myself. It's an honor to care for you, and I hope this page will help you get to know me.
Biography
I grew up in the San Fernando Valley. As a child, I enjoyed soccer, art, and science. These interests lead me to attend Stanford University, competing as a Division I soccer player, where I graduated with honors in human biology. My curiosity for scientific innovation and passion for athletics merged as I went on to pursue my medical training in New York at Columbia University. During medical school, I was recognized for distinctions in leadership, presented at numerous national conferences, and earned first author publications. I completed an additional one-year fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, researching lymphedema. I returned to Los Angeles, where I completed my plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at UCLA. During my training, I enjoyed apprenticing leaders in the fields of breast, microvascular, hand, aesthetic, craniofacial, and gender-affirming reconstructive surgery. There, I was awarded outstanding resident teacher and outstanding resident research awards as I continued to pursue my passion for plastic surgery. My interest in hand surgery brought me to Seattle. I graduated from University of Washington Hand and Microvascular Surgery fellowship, where my specialized training encompassed complex plastic surgery and orthopedic trauma. My training included microsurgical technique and a wide range of hand surgery. I continue to enjoy applying this highly specialized skill set to all areas of plastic surgery.
About my practice
My primary goal is to treat each member as my own family member. I hope to provide members with an individually tailored and comprehensive technical approach dedicated to combining surgical restoration with compassion and empathy. I feel lucky to be a part of a supportive team of physicians, nurses, and staff dedicated to a positive and personal member experience.
How I thrive
When not working, I enjoy spending time with my family. We love being outdoors and taking advantage of the beautiful weather in California. I love running, yoga, and live music.
