About me

Hello and welcome to my Web page. I'm very glad to have the opportunity to give you a little background about myself and introduce my practice.

Biography

Having moved to San Diego at the age of 5, I consider myself essentially a native. My education, military service, and previous clinical practice have taken me around the states and even across the Pacific to Japan. This kept me away from America's Finest City for a 20-year span. However, I was excited to relocate back to San Diego and join the fantastic Kaiser Permanente team in 2002.

About my practice

We have an excellent anesthesia care team in San Diego. We work extremely well together to provide everything from basic to very complex anesthesia services. We provide inpatient and ambulatory (outpatient) surgical procedures, as well as obstetrical care. Our team works in a very collegial manner, frequently discussing difficult cases and anesthesia issues. I feel this ready availability of additional insight and knowledge, as well as immediate hands-on assistance, provides our members with high-quality anesthetic care.

How I thrive

Balance is the cornerstone of my philosophy of being healthy in mind, body, and spirit. To achieve this, I maintain an active lifestyle through mountain biking, hiking, skiing, and fishing. I also enjoy as much quality time as I can with my loved ones. This balance outside the operating room helps me maintain my focus and energy while performing anesthesia - thus providing you, the member, with better care.
