About me

I'm excited to share a little about myself and the journey that led me to a career in women's health. After more than 2 decades in medicine, my passion for women's health continues to grow every day.

Biography

After completing my medical education in Guadalajara, Mexico, and my obstetrics/gynecology specialty training on the East Coast, I returned home to Orange County, where I live with my husband and our 2 daughters. I feel incredibly fortunate to do work that allows me to connect with women and guide them through important moments in their lives, and I enjoy helping educate and empower women of all ages to understand their bodies.

About my practice

My passion for women's health began with my own family's experience with breast and ovarian cancer, which inspired me to dedicate my career to caring for women through every stage of life. That personal connection continues to guide the way I practice medicine, with empathy, understanding, and a focus on empowering members. Over the years, I've developed a strong interest in minimally invasive and more recently robotic surgery, allowing me to provide advanced, precise care that helps women heal faster and get back to their lives with confidence.

How I thrive

When I'm not in the office, I love spending time with my family, especially cheering on my daughters at their sports events or volunteering with them in the community. We enjoy giving back through local philanthropic projects, but at the same time we treasure the time spent with our daughters, traveling to foreign lands and learning about other cultures. And when I have the chance to unwind, there's nothing better than a great live show — especially a country music concert!
