About me

Hello, and welcome to my Web page. I am happy to introduce myself, and tell you about my practice.

Biography

I am a San Diego native, and grew up a Kaiser Permanente member. After several years away at UCLA and Harvard, I was happy to return to San Diego, where I have been a maxillofacial surgeon at Kaiser Permanente since 1991. I feel very fortunate to practice at Kaiser Permanente with wonderful colleagues and patients, and I look forward to working with you to care for your health.

About my practice

We have an experienced team of professionals here in Maxillofacial / Head and Neck Surgery at our San Diego Medical Center. We will work with you to address your specific health needs and concerns. I feel very honored that so many patients have entrusted me with their care, and I strive to treat them as I would my own family.

How I thrive

Keeping a well-balanced life is very important to me. As an outdoor adventurer since my youth, I have spent much time exploring the Southwest and Baja – camping, fishing, backpacking, and four-wheeling. As scoutmaster for my son's Boy Scout troop, I have enjoyed sharing many of these experiences with the next generation.
