Where I practice
It is important that I feel comfortable with my personal physician and I'm sure you feel the same for your child or teen. I am glad to have this opportunity to tell you more about my pediatric practice and myself.
I was born and raised in Southern California, but I was fortunate to see much of the world while growing up. I lived in New York for medical school but returned to California for my pediatric training to be closer to family and have nicer weather year round. After the birth of my second son, I returned to work part time, so that I could spend more time with my own children while they are young. I am passionate about my career and all children whose lives I touch. I especially enjoy helping underprivileged children through Kaiser Permanente as a volunteer in local school clinics.
About my practice
Most children are born healthy and it is my job to help keep them that way. I encourage a healthy lifestyle starting from birth, and I enjoy following children as they grow. I see children of all ages in my practice, from newborns to 18 year olds. I also work many urgent care shifts, and one week per month I am the designated physician for hospitalized children at Kaiser Permanente Downey Medical Center.
How I thrive
I am a firm believer that one must practice what they preach. This is why I choose to live an active and healthy lifestyle. I enjoy running, hiking, yoga, and anything outdoors. However, much of my exercise these days is spent chasing after my two young boys. Watching college sports is also an interest of mine, both on TV and at the event. I enjoy exploring different restaurants and recipes with my family and experiencing other cultures with travel abroad.
