Thank you for visiting my Web page. I hope it will allow you to get to know me better.
I was born in New York City but grew up in Southern California. I was brought up in a family of physicians and was exposed to medicine at a young age. I attended college at UCLA and medical school at USC. I completed my residency in Los Angeles and my fellowship training back in New York. I am board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, cardiac CT, and vascular ultrasound.
I practice medicine based on evidence and current research. I believe prevention is the ultimate goal, which is why I was attracted to practicing at Kaiser Permanente. I feel that communication with patients, nurses, and other physicians is key in patient care. I’ve found that spending more time educating patients will then lead them to take better care of themselves and to make better health choices. I have a particular interest in noninvasive imaging, valvular heart disease, stress testing, and heart failure.
I enjoy spending my free time with my family and traveling. I am a big Laker and UCLA Bruin fan and frequently play basketball and tennis.
