Hello, and welcome to my Web page! I was born in Vietnam, but raised in Southern California. After attending UC Berkeley for my undergraduate studies, I traveled halfway across the country to Milwaukee for my medical training. I was then fortunate enough to train in internal medicine and gastroenterology at UC Irvine Medical Center, and have since been practicing at Kaiser Permanente. I look forward to meeting and giving you the best care possible.
I was born in Vietnam and raised there for the first eight years. However, I think of Orange County as home, and I’ve lived here for most of my adult life. I was surrounded by health care professionals growing up, and decided to follow in my brother's footsteps to become a physician. I truly value being able to live and work in Orange County, as both my parents and my brother are in the area as well. Our amazing weather allows me to participate in outdoor activities such as kayaking, hiking, and obstacle courses.
I am truly blessed to work with such an amazing team of health care providers. Our nurses and medical assistants are so caring and dedicated, which makes my job even more meaningful and exciting. Although I was trained to be a well-rounded gastroenterologist, my interests include reflux and heartburn, gallstone and liver disease, and advanced endoscopic procedures.
I've always encouraged my patients to stay fit, live well, and thrive. Personally, I try to stay as active as possibly. The California weather allows me to be active with kayaking, hiking, and other outdoor activities. I am an avid basketball fan and would routinely play in organized leagues around the city. I stay balanced by spending time with my family and friends.
