Hello, and welcome to my Web page. I am a cardiologist practicing at the Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center.
I was born and raised in Northern California, and I completed my undergraduate training at UC Berkeley. I received my medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine in 2001, and completed my internal medicine residency and chief residency at California Pacific Medical Center in 2005. I completed my cardiovascular diseases fellowship at both the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and California Pacific Medical Center in 2008. I then served as a fellow in echocardiography and adult congenital heart disease at UC San Francisco, and later as a UC San Francisco clinical instructor in the Division of Cardiology. I am board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular diseases, echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology. I joined Kaiser Permanente in August of 2009, and am the Director of Adult Congenital Heart Diseases as well as the Medical Director of the Coronary Care Unit at the Los Angeles Medical Center.
I am an adult cardiologist with specific interests in adult congenital heart diseases, valvular heart diseases, and heart failure. In my practice and delivery of care, I work closely with my patients so that they may have a better understanding of their heart disease and what we can do to together to enable them to lead healthier lives.
I enjoy my time with family and friends and all that Southern California has to offer.
