Where I practice
Hello! Welcome to my Web page.
I chose to become an emergency medicine physician at the age of 13, after my father was involved in a very serious car accident. He was hit by a drunk driver and sustained major head injuries. For six weeks he was in a coma, and we spent most of my eighth-grade year visiting the intensive care unit and then various hospital and rehabilitation facilities. That experience changed our whole family forever. I work in Kaiser Permanente's Emergency Departments in Irvine and Anaheim. I take great pride in caring for my patients and their families, and one of my goals is to help alleviate the stress of any emergency visit you have.
About my practice
I have been with Kaiser Permanente since 2002 and a physician with our organization since 2005. I transferred here not long ago from Kaiser Permanente in Fontana. I try to treat all of my patients in the Emergency Department as I would want my family members to be treated. While we are often rushed in the Emergency Department, I try to spend as much time as possible explaining tests, procedures, results, and expected outcomes to my patients and their families. I want my patients to feel that their questions have been answered prior to their admission to the hospital or discharge home. I think communication is a very important part of my job.
How I thrive
I enjoy spending time with my boys, my husband, and my friends and family. I enjoy scuba diving, reading, and traveling.
