Where I practice
Welcome to my webpage! I am happy to have a chance to introduce myself and to tell you more about pathology and laboratory medicine at South Bay.
I'm originally from Florida and Georgia, where my parents are both academics. I graduated with honors from the University of Georgia and headed north to New York City, where I met my wife while attending medical school at Columbia University. As a medical student, I enjoyed caring for my local community by leading a low-cost primary care clinic. Later, I spent five additional years training at New York University, first as a Resident and Chief Resident in Anatomic/Clinical Pathology, and then as a Dematopathology Fellow.
About my practice
Pathologists work together with your treating physician to provide you with the most accurate, complete and timely diagnostic results. I am board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, and have particular expertise in diseases of the skin. I have authored and co-authored a number of papers on cutting-edge research topics. I recently joined the South Bay Medical Center and consider it a privilege to be a part of the Kaiser Permanente family.
How I thrive
When I'm not hard at work, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family, especially running, hiking and swimming. Together, we love exploring SoCal's many wonderful cities, restaurants and cultural attractions.
