Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page. I’m glad you have chosen or are considering choosing Kaiser Permanente for your health care coverage, and I hope you can find the right physician for you—one who will address your health needs and ease your concerns.
I was born in Lebanon, and I emigrated from Beirut to the United States with my family in 1989. I grew up in Alhambra, California. After high school, I was torn between accepting my admission to UCLA or traveling abroad for college. I chose to travel back to Lebanon and ended up graduating from the American University of Beirut, where I also finished medical school. In 2005, I relocated to California and completed my internship and residency in internal medicine at USC. I love California for its diversity and sunny weather.
About my practice
I practice internal medicine, and I believe that excellent patient care is derived not only from great medical practice but also from a strong working relationship between the patient and his or her doctor. I enjoy being a doctor because I get to know my patients personally and be part of their lives. I pride myself in having an excellent health care team to help me reach my goals as a physician. As a team, we strive to aid in solving your immediate health care needs and preventing other possible future ailments.
How I thrive
I ask my patients from time to time, “Are you living or are just alive?” There is a tremendous difference between the two and in order to “truly live,” we must continue to be active physically, mentally, and spiritually. I enjoy jogging, outings with friends for a few laughs, and relaxing near my pool. I also anticipate and treasure my time with my niece and nephew, whom I sometimes babysit on weekends.
