Where I practice
About me
I am a board-certified medical oncologist practicing at Kaiser Permanente’s Panorama City Medical Offices in the Hematology/Oncology Department. Where I’m proud to provide compassionate care based on evidence and current research to our members.
Biography
After graduation from Arcadia High School in Arcadia, California, I lived in great cities like Davis, California; New Haven, Connecticut; Chicago, Illinois; and Hershey, Pennsylvania prior to returning to Southern California for further training in hematology/oncology . It was an easy decision for me to stay in Southern California and join Kaiser Permanente.
About my practice
I feel deeply privileged to guide members through some of the most challenging moments of their lives. I approach cancer care with integrity, diligence, and empathy, using up-to-date medical knowledge to support personalized treatment decisions. My goal is always to empower members with information while fostering trust, respect, and partnership.
Cancer Subspecialty Focus
My clinical expertise includes the management of complex hematologic malignancies, solid tumors, and benign blood disorders. I treat a wide range of cancers, including breast cancer, lung and thymic cancers, head and neck cancers, genitourinary cancers, skin cancers, and thyroid and endocrine tumors.
Collaboration on Multidisciplinary Teams
I work closely with colleagues across specialties to provide team-based care. I participate in our multidisciplinary thoracic tumor board, where expert perspectives are integrated to develop personalized treatment plans that support the full scope of a patient’s needs, from diagnosis through survivorship.
Research and Clinical Trials
I am actively involved in advancing cancer care through clinical trials as part of the National Cancer Institute’s Community Oncology Program. As a sub-investigator, I contribute to national studies through partnerships with the SWOG Cancer Research Network, the National Surgical Adjuvant Breast and Bowel Project (NSABP), the Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology, and NRG Oncology.
Professional Affiliations
I am a member of the American Society of Hematology (ASH) and the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), which allows me to stay up to date on the latest developments in cancer research, clinical innovation, and best practices.
How I thrive
Maintaining balance in life is important to me. I believe in Kaiser Permanente’s total health philosophy and practice it in my own life. Staying active, connected to loved ones, and grounded in purpose allows me to bring my full energy and presence to the members I serve each day.
