Thanks for visiting my Web page. I believe it’s important that you feel comfortable with your physician, and I hope this page will help you get to know me a little bit better.
I was born in Los Angeles and grew up in the San Fernando Valley. I attended college at UC Berkeley and studied political science and business. After college I worked as a financial analyst and management consultant in the San Francisco Bay Area, as well as in Washington, DC. My job, however, didn’t provide me with the type of fulfillment I sought. I always wanted to be a surgeon, and I regretted not following this passion in college. I decided to go back to school and study pre-med. The rest is history. I then spent 10 years in New York City and Connecticut studying medicine and urology. When I returned to Los Angeles, I completed a prostate cancer fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where I was also in private practice.
Our team here at South Bay Medical Center includes physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and others who all work together for a single purpose—to create a positive environment in which we can take care of your urologic needs. I enjoy practicing general urology, but I tend to focus on laparoscopic prostate and kidney cancer surgery, kidney stones, and male infertility.
I believe balance is very important in life, and I try to live my life to that end. I enjoy running and hiking, as well as relaxing at home with my wife, two children, and our dog Berkeley.
