About me
Hello! I look forward to meeting you to help you with your weight and lifestyle goals. I want you to know that we will work in partnership to help you reach goals that are important to you. After our visit, I hope you will feel comfortable with how the right synergy between weight loss medications and lifestyle strategy will help you toward those goals. Also with my culinary medicine background, I always love talking about food!
Biography
I mostly grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and went to UC Irvine for college. I next moved to Boston to study public health at Tufts University. I completed my medical education at Tulane University in New Orleans, where I also helped to completely reform the medical nutrition curriculum to be taught through the lens of culinary medicine. My last medical school rotation was at Johnson and Wales University in Rhode Island, where I completed a culinary medicine rotation. I decided to move back to California, and now I get to practice my dream job in weight management, metabolic, and lifestyle medicine. Outside of work, our 3 kids keep my wife and me on our toes at all times!
About my practice
I am board certified in both obesity medicine and family medicine and am very confident in being able to help guide you with the right balance between weight loss medications and lifestyle practices. I want to help you reach your true goals of feeling more healthy, more vibrant, and more energetic so that you can be your best self in your personal and professional life. I look forward to meeting you!
How I thrive
I am always looking to experiment in the kitchen with my joy for cooking. I also am a sports nut and love cheering for the teams I support! I look to share these joys with my wife and kids — the most important people in my life.
