Hello, welcome to my Web page. I am a staff gastroenterologist at Kaiser Permanente South Bay Medical Center.
I was born in India. After completing high school there, my family moved to Southern California. I received my undergraduate degree from UC San Diego, and my medical education from USC. After completing my internal medicine residency at Los Angeles County+USC Medical Center, I completed my gastroenterology fellowship at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. I was an assistant clinical professor at UCLA for three years, mostly teaching medical students, residents in training, and fellows in gastroenterology. After that, I moved to a small town in Iowa, where I was in private practice for five years prior to returning to Southern California. I joined Kaiser Permanente South Bay Medical Center in 1998.
My practice is concentrated in the field of consultative and endoscopic gastroenterology. I believe in providing compassionate, thorough, and complete care by developing trusting relationships with members.
Keeping balance in my life is very important to me. I like to bike with my children, play basketball with my son, and read books. I enjoy cooking Indian food. I maintain my well-being by doing daily meditation. I also make it a priority to set aside time to just relax and listen to both Indian and Western classical music. I also love hiking , biking, traveling and cooking.
