About me

Hello and Welcome! Thank you for visiting my Web page. I hope to provide you with information to help make you comfortable with my expertise.

Biography

I was born and raised in India until I was 18. I feel very fortunate to have had such a multicultural experience growing up—I lived in a land of scarcity as well as one of abundance. My parents always emphasized educational excellence and hard work as worthy goals. I knew, early on, I wanted to be a physician, having seen my mother taking care of patients as a nurse in India. I consider myself privileged to be able to be of service to people in need. I volunteer at least twice per year at local eye camps with the help of Lions Clubs International to provide free screening exams and glasses to people without insurance.

About my practice

I’m an oculoplastics specialist—I specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of all conditions relating to the eyelids, the lacrimal system, and the tissues surrounding the eye and its orbit. Many of the conditions I treat require extensive and diligent coordination with doctors from specialties such as dermatology, head and neck surgery, neurology, neurosurgery, and radiology, to name a few. I enjoy the collaboration, and will communicate effectively on your behalf to provide you with the high-quality care.

How I thrive

I enjoy tennis, hiking, spending time with my family, and volunteering for the local Boy Scouts troop and community tennis club.
