Thank you for visiting my web page. I am proud to be a pulmonary medicine/critical care physician for one of the most forward-thinking health care organizations in the country. I have the privilege of taking care of the sickest patients in the intensive care unit, and it is an honor to be a part of that care.
I am originally from Los Angeles, and outside of my medical schooling in Kansas City, MO, I have spent my entire life in California. My training came from Los Angeles County at the University of Southern California in internal medicine. I completed my specialized training in pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine at the UC Davis Medical Center.
I truly believe in the Kaiser Permanente philosophy of health in body, mind, and spirit, and I spent six years with Kaiser Permanente in Northern California before moving south and joining the dynamic team here in Southern California in 2016. My practice is mostly in general pulmonary medicine and critical care . However, I do have special interest in exercise physiology and in cardiopulmonary exercise testing and participate in supervising and interpreting those studies as well.
Outside of medicine, I enjoy traveling and learning about new cultures and I make time to surf at least once a week.
